    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Managing the day to day orders for my account ensuring that Service level is as high as possible, with minimal order errors and ensuring deliveries are made on time . In addition I support on NPD orders and any other requirements that other members of team in different functions require or any requirements from the customer. Furthermore I also create and send reports on a variety of different topics distributed both internally and externally

  • I was given plenty of responsibility straight away very quickly picking up meaningful and important tasks as well as several projects which I was completely autonomous over, however it was very reassuring that there was always support there if needs be

  • I received plenty of support from the team around me with a close relationship with my line manager, manager and all other team members who were always on hand to support with any problems or issues I had and always gave good advice

  • There is a fantastic culture in many different forms. It is a very fun office to work in and there is also a great social scene and other activities such as Citizens Day

  • My Placement was a very enjoyable experience. I enjoyed my role and learned any new skills and gained valuable experience for the future. The culture was also fantastic and made it very fun coming to work and I hope to return in my future career

  • My advice would be to try not to be nervous to be yourself and focus on what extra curricular activities and achievements not just previous work and academic experience
