  • Managing Digital Service Record project launch such as creating content of services and the landing page. Reporting weekly and monthly on My Honda+ app reviews. Working with suppliers such as Bosch (DSR supplier)

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility in my role, acting is the PIC / main point of contact at HME for Digital Service Record and Evhc. I also chaired the Monthly My Honda+ Management meeting.

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I received lots of support, particularly from my line managers and team who were happy to answer my questions. The general attitude towards supporting Undergraduates and associates is very positive with most people offering to help in any way possible.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • General atmosphere is very positive and welcoming. The company culture is inclusive, friendly and everyone is very approachable. The open door policy is clearly seen and felt in office. There was limited social events and interaction, mainly due to COVID restrictions.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • My work was very interesting and different than any other role / industry I had previously worked in. My team has been very supportive and friendly and the company culture is as described. Honda has met my expectations of my placement year, helping me learn new skills and massively improving my industry knowledge.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Honda Motor Europe
  • The interview process is more simple than for other placements I applied to. I would recommend to take lots of time to go over the task produced in the assessment centre to ensure you haven't made mistakes due to the pressure of the process. I would love to have known how friendly the people are as I think it would have reduced my nerves slightly when joining.
