    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Managed and provided oversight on the localisation and publication of webpages across Europe. Created campaign's for eCRM activity surrounding pre-launch and launch activity. Liaised with stakeholders to collect and analyse feedback to inform future decision making. Responsible for reviewing competitor creative campaigns and strategy. responsible for collecting and analyzing website performance and communicating to HME Automobile Division.

  • I've developed my Networking and capacity to find the correct contact to gain information. Understood how to communicate to different colleges based on the context of the discussion and their position within or outside the organisation. Developed my project management skills, especially through working with digital projects.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility, mostly on the Digital side of Marketing, which involved managing the status of website pages across Europe. I was also given the responsibility of planning eCRM campaigns, performing competitor reviews and providing reports on website performance.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a lot of independence on my placement, therefore, would say I received little guidance. The level of guidance given varied amongst colleges within our team, with some intuitively recommending I approach situations in a different capacity, which i really appreciated!

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • My perspective was that a large proportion of the culture is very work focused, which is great, however, there were few people within the company I had a personal conversation with. There were some incredible people I met along the way, however, my general consensus was that the culture was superficial!
