  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

    • Yes - Worked largely independent on projects which had far reaching implications on a national business level. Initially had data and metrics reviewed before presenting but was quickly trusted in my ability to source data and present correctly

    • 1:1 with my supervisor every week Felt encouragement to ask for help when needed With the challenges of remote working could occasionally feel slightly isolated with low interaction if limited meetings

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • In my wider team, very relaxed and helpful environment with all members very motivated and happy to be working and to communicate. High student/graduate employee count with many of the team having previously done the same placement scheme so didnt feel out of place

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

    • Enjoyed the majority of the placement, most specifically the return to the office and the additional social aspects from this. Were points in which I had limited roles to do and felt slightly underutilised. Happy that I did the placement. Would go back if the correct role for me was available

    • Make sure to actively engage with others, will be easier now with the return of office working Be sure to be adequately prepared for both office and remote working settings. Be a positive and proactive learner.
