Overview
Completing admin tasks such as filing, creating workflows and approving grants to support the clinical operations manager team in the set up and execution of clinical trials.
Skills
I have developed my communication, teamwork, time management and leadership skills significantly throughout my placement year and have also learnt new skills including project management, independent working and adaptability.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given a large amount of responsibility throughout my placement year, I was solely responsible for many of my day to day tasks and had lots of opportunity for independent working.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support throughout my placement, being provided with multiple mentor figures that I could go to for guidance and advice.
Culture
It was a very positive environment to work in, everyone was very kind and supportive and I was always made to feel welcome and involved.
Your Impressions
I greatly enjoyed my placement and am very grateful that I was able to have this experience at MSD, I've learnt valuable skills for my future career and have formed good relationships with many colleagues.
