    • Day-to-day tasks would include regulation mapping (analysing the impact of a new regulation and where it is relevant within the organisation) and keeping in touch with projects happening within the business.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

    • Yes! Definitely had a lot more responsibility than I thought I would have as an intern. Had a lot of support with pieces of work but was also encouraged to make my own decisions and input my ideas.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

    • A lot. Everyone in the company is more than happy to take time to help/support the interns and within my team they constantly checked if I had enough work to do and if there was any specific areas I wanted to learn more about then they gave me the opportunity to do so. The early careers team is also amazing and makes you feel so comfortable approaching them with any issues.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Very welcoming and supportive, you can tell they really value their interns. I was able to have genuine conversations with every single person I spoke to. This helped me build strong relationships quickly and also made me feel very comfortable. There is still a strong focus on development and they really provide you the atmosphere to get the most out of the internship.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

    • I have really enjoyed my internship! I have been kept busy and given lots of responsibility which has been really rewarding and I have also had plenty of time to develop my own personal skills and to network outside of my specific function.
