Overview
Cost Management team - I take on the tasks assigned by my manager. These tasks include using the software to pull cost numbers to use for analysis. Another is using the figures we pull from the system to make into informative packs to distribute to the businesses.
Skills
My Excel skills have been developed along side presenting skills. The early careers team put on training for each which is very helpful as you need these skills during the internship.
Responsibilities
The first few weeks were spent settling in and was fairly comfortable. Once I settled in I was given more and more responsibility which I was very appreciative of.
Support & Guidance
My manager and team were great for helping me through tasks they had assigned to me but also on a wider basis.
Culture
This is the highlight of this internship - everyone in the company makes time for you as an intern which makes settling in much easier. It is a fairly relaxed culture with many events happening to help get to know others who may not be in you team.

I loved my internship here - fully exceeded my expectations.

Try to understand the business as a whole an not just the area you work in as it gives an insight to what the whole company is working towards.
