I really enjoyed my time in the UK and especially my time at BMW. During that time I gathered at lot of new skills (e.g. skills in RPA) and gathered international experience as a part of BMW UK. To sum it up I really enjoyed my time working abroad here in the United Kingdom.

They always tried to find the best possible solution and were interested in my development which occurred during the time of my internship.
4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
I had days which were quite busy and some days which were less busy. I could use the non-busy days to drive my own small projects and that was honoured by my manager and the team. Of course the were some days on which there were less tasks but the number of those isn't that huge and of course there were days which were quite busy but I think that normal in every job.
5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
I couldn't complain about the responsibility I got. I got my own small project which I were in charge to drive during the three month period. I never had the impression to be overwhelmed, but on the other hand I also didn't had the impression that I just get the task nobody else wanted to do.

I think I gathered two major experiences/skills during the time of my internship. First of all I got insights in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) which especially during times of digitalization is a very valuable experience. On top of that I can this experience to drive the progress of my management degree study.

8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
It was bit difficult mainly due to the fact that my recruitment took place during vacation period resulting in the fact that my point of contract changed many times during that process and as I were not in the UK at that point in time it was a bit difficult. But in the end I got the impression that everybody tried their best to get me on board a smooth as they could.

There are many future opportunities in that company especially in the field of digitalization and automation. 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
