About You
BCLP's spring insight scheme was much better than the others I attended. It was very well organised and we had great exposure to the firm's culture and leadership. The scheme is a week long, paid and you are given real responsibility. It also has social events and a fast-track to training contract so it is more like a vacation scheme in that regard. They look at you and treat you like trainee solicitors, so it is an opportunity to show what you are capable of.
BCLP is a great place to work and very inclusive. It seems like the firm has integrated well after the merger. I really felt like part of the team even though I was only there for a week.
My buddies went above and beyond to help with my development and on my final day I was invited to a department social event which was a really nice send-off.
I had exposure to real work and received feedback which will help me with further opportunities.
The Company
After the scheme, I kept in touch with a lot of the friends I made and BCLP kept me up to date with the next steps and provided a lot of feedback which will assist me in the future.
Very nice, it was inclusive and a lot of people took time out of their days to speak to me.
Everything Else
Paid £400
We had a night at Flight Club and then a final social at The Listing.
