    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight programme has been truly fantastic to help me understand the work that takes place in a multinational accounting firm. I have met so many brilliant people who have helped me so much on the placement, and even now I am still in contact with many who are always there to assist me.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I honestly felt really valued by the team I was under at EY. Instead of seeing me as just an extra person, they made every effort to make sure I was included in all the work that was done. This gave me great exposure to the setting, and definitely made a difference.

  • I was given plenty of support and this really made my time even more worthwhile. I was fortunate to get advice on the work carried out in accounting firms as well as seeing the potential career opportunities that would be available to me after graduating. They made sure I was making the most of my time.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • A lot of emphasis and encouragement was shown to enhance my skills, which I believe I have been able to develop during the insight programme. This ranged from improving my ability to work in a team of different people and my presentation skills, which I feel more confident in. Again this is something that stood out to me.
