  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was a really enjoyable experience and you get to meet a lot of people and build a network with people from many different backgrounds and places. First day was heavily content based but the second day was more hands on with hackathons and a quiz which allowed us to work together in groups.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • We had the opportunity to meet partners, senior members and people on the graduate scheme and we were given the chance to ask questions and get the information we needed. We were treated very well and were praised numerous times and felt valued overall by everyone no matter their rank.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The information i reveieved will help long term as i have a better understanding of the different roles at EY and which areas i am more interested in. The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was well structured from keeping on time with everything and managing to fit everything in to having time for lunch and break. In addition to this, the social was organised well and gave us the opportunity to further carry on socialising with fellow peers and food was provided through out so it was well organised.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere was really good during the insight and the only downfall would be the first day which was content heavy and it can feel a little to much but in general it was good and the social in particular the atmosphere was really good and thats credit to EY staff.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company gave us an EY goodie bag with many different things in it such as a power bank and a water bottle to books and post it notes. Due to it being 2 days there werent much investment in us but they did re imburse travel costs if needed.
