  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed my placement as I had great responsibilities and worked with good people

  • I felt very appreciated by my colleagues, they made me feel part of the team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The supervision on my placement was very thorough, I always had some teach me the basics and I could go to them whenever I had problems.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The work balance was good, I was never too busy but I wasn't bored either.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • One of my main aims in my placement was to get some real responsibility and I definitely got that. I was able to do work and have to deliver just as anyone else on the team which was great!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I definitely learnt a lot on my placement and they are skills that I will take with me in the next steps of my career.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere in the office great, people interacted very well but also did their work. I never felt under pressure to be anyone but me.

  • The organisation was great, I knew where I was going to be from the start and even if there were changes and I was informed with enough notice.

  • The firm invests greatly in their people, the people are the main asset.

  • I was offered a job with them, which I accepted!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The placement students got to know each other well, we socialised after work and keep in touch now that the placement is over.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The cost was fine/normal for the area, not any more than other cities.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The night-life was great, there were a lot places that you could go after work or on the weekend.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • The firm gave opportunities to participate in activities after work and the teams also organised events for socialising and getting to know each other.
