The Role
Very nice company, work ethic, culture and employees. Fitted in instantenously.
Treated as any other employee
Never found myself with nothing to do - some days were extremely busy but this only benefits me in the long-term.
Very high responsibility having to send out contracts for trades worth millions of pounds.
The Company
Very friendly and relaxed - work hard play hard culture.
Assigned a mentor for the placement, but I felt more like a full time employee than someone on placement.
I have been on a number of expensive courses, including advanced excel, advanced access and vba, and a refinery course.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Has a graduate scheme and employees are given maximum opportunity to move jobs internally.
The Culture
Many company events were arranged.
London West End - expensive as expected.
Again, London West End - very lively.
Dedicated sports and social club meant that numerous events occured each month that any employee can get involved in.
