  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my year at ASOS. The working environment and ethos is great.

  • Very. My role was one of a normal employee and I had a vast amount of responsibility.

  • My managers were very supportive throughout the year.

  • I nearly always had something to be getting on with.

  • I was given so much more responsibility than I thought I would have done.

  • The skills I have learned and developed over the year at ASOS have been so beneficial and will be fundamental in progressing further in my career.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Happy, fun, enthusiastic.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well set up. We had monthly intern development sessions as a group and had a mentor who we could speak to regarding any problems. The intern program gave us so much exposure within the business.

  • We had monthly development sessions e.g. managing stress, presentation skills, being mindful etc.

  • Very appealing. I'd love to come back after graduating and things are looking promising.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes. Lots of socials events and Friday drinks. Lunch times in the park and amazing Summer and Xmas parties.

  • London is expensive!

  • Not bad, not great!

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes although I feel these should have been more obviously advertised to interns.
