    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Best decision I've made taking a year out and gaining valuable work experience.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The analytics I produced are being used site wide daily. I was still required to meet deadline and expectations just like any other employee.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • 1 to 1 meetings were there if i wanted them

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The work didn't stop, which is good! Don't expect to leave ontime that often.

    2/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I owned the whole process of an analytic during each sprint; this would mean setting up meetings, producing the analytic and presenting it.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Time management skills, not leaving work till the last minute. Spreading workloads out over a period of time to ease work load.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Chill. Aslong as you meet your deadlines and act professionally around the office then everything was okay.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Once i got assignment to my official role, then everything went smoothly

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Courses were available online for support. Aswell as team members. If they didn't know, they would find someone who did.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised Canteen

    Sports and Social Club

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Appears to just be graduate programs; there will be a lot of applications, with very few places. Not going to be easy

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yep, drinking most weekends.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Terrible university, but business atmosphere was good on weekends. Living was cheap.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Good bars, terrible clubs.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
