The Role
I have really enjoyed my time at Nissan and I feel that what I have learnt will benefit me in my final year at university.
I felt valued my colleagues and I was never left out of anything that could have benefitted me.
It sit next to my supervisor so it was easy to ask him questions if I ever needed help with anything.
This can vary from month to month, depending on how challenging tasks can be.
A colleague and I were for maintaining an important application that Nissan use to send data to NML (Nissan's Japan Office)
Project management skills will benefit me as one of my modules in my final year at university is 'Project Management'
The Company
Everyone in the office is very friendly and easy to talk to.
There were times at the beginning where a lot of placement students here weren't given much work to do, however that has now changed.
My supervisor/colleagues provided training to help me to understand certain applications they were using.

Very. If you have done a placement at Nissan and you want to apply for the graduate scheme, you do not have to attend the assessment centre and you go straight to the interview stage of the process. If you manage to get on the graduate scheme, you're pretty much guaranteed a job at Nissan after being on the scheme for 2yrs+
The Culture
Yes. We regularly organized social nights involving people in our team (night out in town/pubs/clubs etc.). We also organized a big outing at Christmas (meal/drinks) that was paid for by the company :)
During university term time, the bars in Sunderland offer really good promotions on drinks e.g. some drinks are only £1
Sunderland has quite a good night life, particularly during university term time as many of the bars in town offer promotions on drinks etc.
Not particulary
