    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working in the Finance Inventory team, ensuring stock levels were correct through stock investigations& resolving errors to ensure suppliers are paid correctly as well as ensuring part documents are posted correctly. Primarily these are done in Excel & Sap, but occasionally other applications are used. When it comes to the end of the month I had other specific tasks that needed to be completed such as pulling the scrap report & ensuring payments are scheduled correctly. I also assisted the team in producing the monthly vat return for Nissan UK and the Quarterly Vat return for Nissan GB, amongst smaller Vat related tasks.

  • In the interviews and Assessment centres don't worry too much about getting the right answer as sometimes there isn't one, just make sure you put yourself forward and are enthusiastic but most importantly that your just being yourself. Furthermore, if your applying for a finance role, have a refresher with excel as you will use it daily.
