    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The Internship was very well structured. Apart from the on-desk technical learning, there were ample opportunities to take part in team-building events and training. Needless to say, I enjoyed it a lot.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The team was very friendly. From my first day itself, I was made feel welcome to the team and treated as a part of the team. I was assigned the tasks as per my level of understanding which is fair enough.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My team and the manager were quite good on supporting me to enhance my technical understanding and general development needs. I was clearly assigned the tasks to be done and was genuinly helped/supported when the need arised, even though the team was immensely busy at times.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It was really a good balance and depended on me, how much I wanted to push myself. As, I finished the tasks through, I was assigned another task which means that I was fairly busy but at the same time not juggling between various pieces of work. This was good and allowed me to understand things better.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In terms of responsiblity, I very much contributed to the team as a integral team member. I took on projects which will have definitely added real value to the team and helped them automate processes by developing a tool.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • In terms of skills, the technical skills which I have learnt are the ones which I will cherish throughout my career. I have developed both as an individual and in terms of my technical skillset. It definitely provides me a much better overview of how things work in an enterprise but most importantly I'll come out as a more confident individual
