  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The internship is great fun - my projects have all been really interesting and everyone is very kind and friendly.

  • I was really welcomed by people in my department and was involved by them in a variety of projects.

  • I receive a lot of support from my managers and they were always very open to questions.

  • I'm very busy but don't feel overwhelmed by the work.

  • I've been given responsibility for a few projects and receive a lot of help and support in them, but also have a lot of freedom in how I do them.

  • The skills and experiece I've gained have been brilliant and will be so helpful in my course.

  • Everyone's really welcoming and it's been great to get to know the team.

  • The graduate recruitment team are brilliant. The induction was great and really helpful and everything's been very well organised.

  • I've been given lots of opportunities for development and to gain a variety of different skills.

  • There are a great set of interns and lots of banter.

  • Edinburgh's not the cheapest place to live but it's not too expensive.

  • Edinburgh's brilliant and has loads going on.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There are sports and social clubs that you can join and work nights out. The Edinburgh Festival's on during August so lots going on.
