From the very start I was welcomed into the team. I took over from a previous intern, therefore had a full role to fill rather than just doing adhoc tasks for the team. I really enjoyed my placement as i was given huge amounts of responsibility, and worked closely with each marketing brand. This meant i acquired not only digital marketing knowledge but extensive traditional marketing knowledge and practices, giving me an all round experience.
The first half of my placement I enjoyed but found it very challenging as I was working on my own a lot. As the role developed it became easier to interact with other teams in the business. I thoroughly enjoyed the second half of my placement at L'Oreal. I felt more a part of the team and included when working towards an overall goal.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement! It was very challenging but very rewarding at the same time. A lot of responsibility is given from the first day, so combined with an extremely fast passed environment it can be daunting. However, you are given great support by both your line manager and function team, along with HR really allowing you to perform to your best and develop your skills.
I have really enjoyed working at L'Oréal, its been a challenging and fun environment with a company that fully supports and empowers you to do your own work and suggest your own ideas, no matter what level job you are within the company.
I have really enjoyed my supply chain placement at L'Oreal. They really give you an insight into what working life post university is like. All the work you do actually makes an impact, which is really rewarding. You get the opportunity to branch out and work with different people in different teams so it was really fun as the possibilities are endless.
I really enjoyed my placement. Every day I learnt something new, and never had lack of work. I found the work challenging but not too difficult that I struggled. I would really recommend working in the Digital Marketing team, as there is a huge collaboration with the traditional marketing.
The company is run on interns which means you are given a huge amount of responsibility. This can seem daunting at first but if you think you are up to the task and give your all during the year you will have some amazing projects to your name. It can depend on the manager you get and the role you are placed in on how much and how juicy the work is but that is the same with any big company.
I really enjoyed my placement, the environment is extremely friendly and welcoming. Over my placement I have been very fortunate to meet lots of people and network with lots of people! The intern environment is also very friendly and with such a large group, there is always something to do.
My daily responsibilities are quite different to what i had initially anticipated which was a little frustrating during the beginning of my placement. Nevertheless as i became more experienced and took complete ownership over my responsibilities i began to enjoy my work a lot more.
I have really enjoyed my year here at L'Oréal. The amount of responsibility and opportunities you get here is outstanding and so much more than what I expected! That said, this was also the hardest year I have ever gone through. Working here takes a lot of dedication and hard work, so expect to put it as much as you want to take out! It is so worth it though!
I really enjoyed my placement, my role was completely varied throughout the year and I got the chance to spend a lot of time running events and projects outside the office as well as sitting at my desk. My role provided an incredible number of opportunities to network with both internal and external stakeholders and to understand various areas of the business. I was given a huge amount of responsibility very early on but was constantly monitored by my managers to ensure I was prioritising/comfortable with the tasks I has been delegated.
You are given lots of independence and responsibility which allows you to develop a lot throughout the year. Teams are all very friendly and ensure that help is given if needed. You are given lots of projects to work on which, although it can mean that you are always very busy ensures that you have a varied workload, much better than would be expected for an intern.
I loved my placement year within the company and was given responsibilities since day one. The people in the office were all so welcoming and lovely. The company really supports your development here with the schemes and learning platforms that they offer.
I really enjoyed my placement. L'Oréal is very fast-paced which makes your role as an intern very interesting but also very intense. My team was great and I had the chance to learn a lot from them. Also, L'Oréal has approximately 100 interns/grads per year which makes the social life very nice.
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship at L'Oreal. I worked in the new brand therefore I don't think I could have asked for a more exciting area of the company to work in! My expectations were met and exceeded and I enjoyed the level of responsibility I had in the role.
