  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed the insight day, it was a very positive experience. I felt very welcome and left feeling fairly informed.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt very valued during the insight day. Centrica clearly invest a lot of time and money into potential graduates and this was clear.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • We received a good amount of support and guidance during the day, with opportunities to see the working environment, advice on applications, advice on development opportunities etc. More insight into each graduate strand would have been good.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The insight day is, as indicated only a day, but it allowed me to grow in confidence and to develop my networking and teamwork skills with the use of a balloon tower workshop. It also gave me an idea of what the university work i do is used for.

    • Very well structured with a clear agenda set out at the beginning and followed right the way through the day.

    • Very positive, the graduates were extremely friendly and enthuastic. They were happy to answer all questions thrown at them and the atmosphere at Centrica HQ is a very hardworking yet relaxed and pleasant place to be.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • It helped a bitt although there wasn't much focus and explaining the day to day lives of each area of the business but you really got a feel of what it would be like to work for centtrica as a company.

    • It helped massively, the genuine enthusiasm and honesty from the grads and employees depicted the company culture.

    • Fairly valuable. It gave me a good insight into working for a national organisation and definitely narrowed down my choice of business.

    • Yes, with graduates and members of the rrecruitment team.
