  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • st Job Ever! A lot of responsibility and variety in my work. I was treated like full time employee but not intern! Culture at Microsoft is amazing. I have learned so much this year.

  • wMy manager not only gave me support and guidance but he also helped me in my personal development.

  • I was busy all the time because there were always something to do which was great!

  • I was really surprised how much responsibility I was given. This helped me to learn and develop in so many different ways.

  • Time management, organizational skills, communication and presentation skills…are only few skills I have developed that will definitely help me in my final year!

  • My role was new role at Microsoft but it was very well thought through (starting with training and introduction to the company, ending with social events to get to know people in the company.

  • We can apply for a graduate scheme however it is a big competition.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It was quite expensive but still affordable. There are a lot of company events and team events that cost nothing...which is great for students :)

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • It was really good and it is also close to London. Reading has a big university, so another chance for going out (university club)

  • YES! Volunteering, events and may many more!
