  • Really enjoyed my summer placement! I have worked on a live project and was able to apply and develope my skills from university in a professional role. Have also met lots of great people.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Colleagues accepted me into the team straight away and treated as an equal member of the team rather than an experienced student. Have completed activities away from work with the team as well such as weekly 5 a side.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Fairly busy but this still remained a 9 -5 role not having to bring work home that often.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Was responsible for my own work and time keeping, as well working on live projects that were going to make a difference to the buisness!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • They skills will be benificial in my final year of studies due but I see the real value of the skills when I leave university and gain full time employment. What I have learnt at Centrica will allow me to the hit the ground running when I leave university.
