  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Great job, which has given me loads of experience

    • Not once have I made a coffee, and I haven't felt like an intern

    • 1 on 1's with my manager every other week and I know if I hit an issue I can ask her at any time for support

    • Always things to be getting on with, but as long as I focused I could always get it done

    • Responsiblilty was given to me as I went along, getting more and more! I am now doing key bits of work for the company that are valued by the leadership team

    • Training on tap that has made me better at a whole range of skills such as selling and Microsoft Office

    • we worked hard and played hard

    • It's well set up and has been organised to a tea!

    • We were invested in nearly as much as full time staff, with all training and events being available to interns too

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • We reguarlly met up after work and have a good laugh over lunch

    • £300/month rent - just the same as uni really

    • Clubs aren't great but they do the job. Shopping is better though

    • Theres a club for most things at Microsoft, if theres not one already its easy enough to set up a new one
