  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really good environment, everyone very friendly and welcoming

  • I felt I was given work that was useful for big projects the team were working on at the time

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Assigned a mentor who provided me with most of my work and also a graduate who helped me with things and I could ask questions - this was a good support and made asking questions feel much less intimidating

  • Varied but generally quite busy

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Given a number of tasks which contributed towards main projects so I felt that I had a decent level of responsibility especially considering as an intern that is not often possible

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Learnt how to use of a number of programmes which I had never used before

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Friendly / fun - people work hard but also have a laugh and there is very little sense of hierarchy which is a very good thing - sit next to Directors etc

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Well organised - had some departmental talks which were useful and interesting. Could have done with more organised intern events / networking events as they were really good but not often enough.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We went for drinks most evenings and organised a good amount of extra stuff

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Central London quite expensive

  • Fun good bars etc

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Some people joined in a rounder's tournament in a lunchtime / that sort of thing often went on
