The Role
I really enjoyed my work placement more for the people that I met whilst on the scheme rather than the work itself
I felt very valued from my team especially on the valuation team who were always fun and talkative. However many of the senior male colleagues weren't very approachable or welcoming
the guidance was good
I was busiest during the morning and it would tail off usually mid afternoon
I was given a reasonable responsibility but understandably there was only a limit to what I could be given
this internship has made me realise that I potentially would like to go in a different direction than I had previously thought I wanted to with regards to studying a masters course and therefore am glad I have taken part
The Company
within my team it was very chilled and everyone was very chatty but did work, the rest of the office except for some of the graduates and younger colleagues kept to themselves
the placement could have been better organised in the sense a scheduled timetable, and specific tasks each day within different sectors of the office. felt a bit random and not thought about at times
I did feel like I was invested in but I felt that unless you were in the London office then you didn't get as much of a investment.
Company Parties/Events
I would really enjoy to be part of savills in the future
The Culture
the Social scene was very good
As I lived in the city for uni the social and living costs were no more than had already been paying
Really good as always
yes
