Marketing Intern Review

I have enjoyed the insight greatly. The marketing team have taken great care and time to explain the ins and outs of their strategy to me. I have also been entrusted to carry out valuable research and have even been able to pursue a couple of my own projects such as writing an article for the GRB website. All in all I have had a great experience.

I have not simply been a bystander =during my time at the GRB. I feel I have made a real contribution to the work of the marketing team. My research will almost definitely be useful for them in the future.

The balance between guidance and support and independent work was achieved almost effortlessly. I was given tasks which I could complete in my own way, but if I needed to ask questions other members of the team were always happy to help me.

I could not have predicted how helpful the information I received on this insight would be. Specifically it has helped me in deciding on my future career path.

This internship was loosely structured to allow me to decide what I was interested in and learn more about that. Nevertheless, there were certain tasks set and training that I undertook during the insight. Overall I thought the structure was very suitable.

I can't stress enough how friendly all the staff were. There is a brilliant, motivated work atmosphere here. The interaction between all employees is fabulous and is promoted by senior management who organise events such as barbecues, go-karting trips and boat trips during the summer. I was extremely impressed with the general atmosphere.

The company took great time to teach me certain skills such as how to use excel. given that I was only there two weeks I am impressed by how much I have been taught and how much I have learned in that time.

This insight was perfect for introducing me to full time work. I have been very involved with the day to day operations and have been immersed in working life from day one. This is possibly one of the most valuable things I can take away from this insight

Once again, due to the training and attitude of all the staff here I have gained a brilliant understanding of the company culture.

The content was very valuable in helping me to decide my future career path.

I was paid at the minimum wage which I thought was more than reasonable and helped pay for my travel and accommodation.

There was more than enough opportunity for this. On the first day I was taken for a tour around the office to meet everyone and given a brief introduction into what they do.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Yes, I was able to find out a great deal about other employees and that helped me to feel welcome.
