    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The people really make Deloitte, very welcoming and always trying to help you with any queries you have. The shadow days are the best part, where I got to meet a the CEO and Chairman of a big firm while shadowing a Deloitte partner.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • There are always opportunities to ask questions or find out more about a particular topic, even senior managers find some time to sit down with you over a coffee to discuss anything you feel you don't understand

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Though the meetings, talks and shadowing placements within the firm gave a good insight, in terms of physical work not much was given. I was mostly told to research or to read up, and not given actual work to do

    2/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As said above, there were hardly any opportunities to do work that actually impacts a project

    2/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I got to learn a lot about several divisions and exactly what they do, the managers sent me work they are doing and I saw a project from start to finish making me understand the process much better even though I did not contribute much.

    4/5
