The work was extremely enjoyable, my colleagues were friendly and approachable, and the culture complimented these features well. All of the interns were treated as if they were new joiners to the company, with real work and responsibilities from the start, rather than being given trivial tasks or practice exercises to complete. The exposure to clients on a daily basis was intense but also very rewarding. The colleagues I worked with have become good friends. Overall, I loved my time on the placement, and cannot wait to return there next year in January for full time employment.
I enjoyed it a great deal. The department was friendly and interesting, and the work was interesting and challenging. Living in London was a new and valuable experience as well, which was one of the reasons I took the internship in the first place. The entire internship, from start to end, was brilliant. It was clearly evident that a lot of time, planning, money and effort went into ensuring all interns had a challenging, yet enjoyable experience which is exactly what I did and why I accepted the return offer for a full-time role after graduation. Overall a very positive experience and I look forward to the job.
The internship was very enjoyable because it gave me a real insight into the life of a consultant. Of course it was not possible to personally experience the great diversity that forms part of the role, because of the short nature of the internship, but through talking with other interns I managed to get more of an idea of what various projects could be available. The nature of the work was challenging but support existed when it was needed. I enjoyed the placement to a good extend because of these reasons.
I really enjoyed the Deloitte internship, which lasted 6 weeks. Everyone was really friendly and I had a very good exposure to the tasks carried out within Risk Advisory. I had enough responsibility on the internship, to develop myself. The culture at Deloitte was fantastic, with everyone willing to listen to your ideas and many socials to look forward to!
There were times when I didn't have enough to do, especially at the beginning, but that quickly changed as members of my team got used to having me around and started giving me more and more tasks. In general, though, I had a really good time at Deloitte. Additionally this has been a very beneficial experience to add to my CV and has been a good talking point at interviews and assessment centres.
I really enjoyed my time at the firm. From the get go, my buddies and team made it their mission to make me feel welcome with a welcome lunch, constant emails even before my internship had started and simply just checking on me throughout the entire duration. I got to handle real work with responsibility and was supported every step of the way.
Thoroughly! I started on 2015 during a Gap-Year between completing A Levels and beginning University on the Deloitte Scholar Scheme and the company could not have been more welcoming. I completed my internship within Consulting and thought the environment was highly inclusive as I was treated the exact same as all the Graduates whilst taking part in their training scheme. Throughout my time I was able to complete projects across all Consulting departments, ensuring that I gained an informed insight in to what Consulting involves and a more detailed understanding of the services Deloitte offer.
Really good experience, I enjoyed the networking events with other colleagues the most. I felt like I was a part of the company, even though I was an intern, colleagues respected me and explained everything thoroughly until I understood. Deloitte is a company in which I can see myself working in the future
I thoroughly enjoyed my work placement/internship. I was working within the Tax department at Deloitte, so it was a very niche area. Going in I was quite worried about the sort of work that I would be asked to do, given that Tax requires a good breadth of knowledge, which I didn't have, having just completed my 2nd year of my degree. Initially I was being given some smaller tasks to do such as filling out some tax forms on behalf of clients, calling up HMRC to find out the status of particular issues etc. However, after my second week I was given more technical pieces of work which although were challenging, I was pointed in the right direction by my colleagues in order to ensure that I was able to complete the work to a standard that is expected of somebody on a placement. I thoroughly enjoyed the technical pieces of work.
I really enjoyed my summer internship here with Deloitte. Given that I was going to be in a sector I had never interned at before, I was really nervous to start. But my team at Deloitte really helped me throughout the whole internship and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
I enjoyed working for the company and gaining an insight into every day life of people at the firm. I was exposed to clients immediately and so improved my commercial awareness skills and professional skills from day one. I was also able to speak to graduates to find out more about grad schemes offered.
I loved being in a great office in the city, working with a lot of friendly people and enjoying plenty of socials was great. The nature of the work was challenging but support existed when it was needed. I enjoyed the placement to a good extend because of these reasons.
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship at Deloitte. I engaged in a variety of tasks with colleagues who were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Birmingham office to any potential applicants, as everyone was extremely supportive and I was given plenty of tasks to engage with throughout my time there.
The internship was very enjoyable because it gave me a real insight into the life of a consultant. Of course it was not possible to personally experience the great diversity that forms part of the role, because of the short nature of the internship, but through talking with other interns I managed to get more of an idea of what various projects could be available.
The vacation scheme provided the perfect amount of exposure to the company and its ways of working. It was a great mix of both challenging and rewarding work, and it was great to be able to make an impact on real projects. The scheme was extremely well organised with every little detail well thought out to make sure we made the most of our experience.
