  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I was immediately thrown into the deep-end (as it were) and was given a lot of responsibility. The team were hugely grateful for my help, where it was needed, and showed huge enthusiasm for my work.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The team were all very helpful, they let me get on with the tasks set. But all of them were extremely helpful and supportive when I needed assistance. I never felt out of place, or that I asked a stupid question.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt a huge amount in such a short space of time. And the skills I developed over the week, I will keep with me forever as I progress through University and into the industry.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The week was very well structured, and a lot of thought was put into it. We were put into departments that they thought were appropriate and what they thought would interest us. However talks were put on so we got to know more about other departments and how they work. There was also a good balance of networking drinks, among ourselves and also graduates and fee earners.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • I felt as though I was part of the team, everyone was very welcoming. This was a huge confidence booster, and gave me the courage to complete all the tasks thrown at me. There was a great vibe throughout the office, which made it a pleasant atmosphere to work in.
