  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I received plenty of information on how the firm is run on a day-to-day basis. The hosts had employees come down to speak to us and also offer advice during case studies. Aside from the introduction to the different departments, there were skill sessions. For example, a session on presence and presenting and also one on interview skills.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As we had to do a few case studies and presentations during the event, I learnt how to work better in teams and also how to deal with unfamiliar situations. This is helpful when I am working in groups in the future. Also, the skills I learnt in the presence and presenting session will help me to deliver more effective presentations in the future.
