The work that I was given was incredibly varied and exciting, and I was given a wide range of clients to work with - so I was never bored. Come home time, I was often told that I could go home rather than awkwardly having to ask

I was given a lot of responsibility with my work and I really felt like I was playing a key part in the teams that I was working with. Whenever I submitted work back to managers they all seemed delighted by what I had done

The people that I was working with always had time to help me if I had questions, and I was often prompted to work out the answer by myself (with a little guidance) which really helped me develop my skills and want to perform at a high level

Whenever I had finished a particular job, there was always work to do! However, I rarely had to stay too late, and I was often given a good lunch break.

I was being given similar tasks to graduates who had worked at Deloitte for 8 months or so, so I felt like I had a lot of responsibility. All work that I did was checked before submission which was comforting.

Being introduced to many different people at all sorts of levels and remaining confident in approaching people with questions was a really key part of the internship. I also picked up many IT skills

There was a great balance in all offices between work and leisure. There would be periods of time where everyone was silent and working, and then soon after everyone was having a laugh together. Some offices had more senior colleagues than others, and whilst this sometimes meant that there was more pressure on to work harder, it also meant that the opportunity for learning from them was much greater.

I never felt like I was rushed with a particular client, although I divided my time between two clients. Offices were always expecting me, and there was always a role for me to fulfil

A great extent. The main investment the company made into me was the support one to one with a buddy and manager

I have been offered a job with Deloitte, and I have offers from other firms in the Big 4, but after this brilliant experience, I definitely want to work in Deloitte

Every Friday someone in the group would organize drinks somewhere near the office.

The cost of living for me wasn't too bad because I was living at home during the internship.

The nightlife was pretty good as I already mentioned all the interns went on nights out together.

There is a big graduate intake, which meant lots of social events and after work activites occuring which i could get involved with. there were clubs or more relaxed drinks nights, always something being planned
