The Role
The placement exceeded my expectations. I was given a lot of responsibility and it was challenging but rewarding.
I was welcomed by my team.
My line manager was supportive but also encouraged me to work a lot independently.
Most days I was busy enough although naturally there were days when I had a bit of extra time in which I sometimes didnt know how to fill.
I was given a huge amount of responsibility which was great. I was given the responsibiltiy to run my own promotional workshops in call centres across the country which was challenging but I learnt a lot.
I strongly developed my communication, project management and presentation skills and I have strong evidence to prove this.
The Company
The office was quite relaxed making it feel friendly. There were nice out of work events e.g. a charity bikeride
It ran very smoothly and felt well organised.
Skills days in presentations and careers coaching were invaluable.
Company Parties/Events
I am looking forwards to returning to Centrica to start a graduate scheme.
The Culture
The social scene was amazing and made the summer internship a fantastic experiance personally as well as profesionally.
Being in london, it was expensive but worth the price.
We made occasional trips to central London, but more often went to Windsor which was lots of fun.
I took part in a charity bike ride.
