    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Work varied from being very engaging to slightly repetitive. As interns, it is often the case that they try and show you as much of the firm as they can

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • people really are the massive plus point of this firm. They say it over and over again that they are a people firm, but they really are friendly and helpful

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • At times, more work was set than i could handle. The managers are extremely responsive and happy to answer any questions people may have.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There was always something to do - we were given a project to do on the side, so we were always occupied. The actual client work was also abundant, though this was often down to the clients organisation, which could be variable.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • You obviously contribute to the tasks, but tend to be given the most basic jobs. Fine, this gives you experience of what you will be doing when you actually receive your offer

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • They really encourage personal development. You'll find this on the internship - running workshops for you to enhance your personal impact, first impressions etc

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I did my best to make a serious contribution to the office atmosphere. Maybe my own personal enjoyment causes me to rate this 9, or maybe it was excellent, I'm not too sure.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Resourcing in the summer period perhaps isnt the easiest job. There is less work, and therefore less interesting work... The resourcers do their best to put you on interesting work, and where there is none, you may not have a job

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • As I said before. They go out of their way in order to personally enhance you. You as a person are valuable, so they aim to develop you. I guess its obvious, as people really are their only assets.

    5/5

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Got a job.. Pretty high conversion rate as well, so unless you make a total fool of yourself or rub someone senior up the wrong way.... getting the internship means you're well on your way.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes. We made that be the case ourselves.
