About You
I received great insight into the job and the industry, I was given work that generally a graduate would be given in their first couple of weeks in the office.
Everyone was very kind, helpful, friendly and welcoming.
The buddy system worked very well, whereby whenever i needed support i was able to get it, otherwise i was able to work independently,
I believe the skills developed will help me during and after my time at uni.
The Company
The insight was well structured, however it could have been a bit longer.
The atmosphere was great.
We were given a two day induction, as well as an office induction. If I was given work, there would always be sufficient training given beforehand. There were also e-learning modules available.
The insight was very helpful in helping me understand what it would be like to have a full time role, as it was essentially what I would be doing if I were to be starting in a graduate role.
The insight showed me a lot about the company culture, and helped me to better understand it.
The content was very helpful, as I was given a wide variety of work and it helped to decide whether or not I would pursue a career in tax.
Everything Else
I was paid and reimbursed expenses.
We had various opportunities for networking/meeting other people, from just generally in the office to organized social events.
The social activities were very helpful in getting to know other employees.
I spoke with many people and found out about a lot of activities employees can get involved with outside of work.
Definitely.
