  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was an invaluable insight into the company, the department I was working in and into accountancy as a whole.

    • I was given a lot of responsibility. I was also made to feel like a valued member of a team.

    • Everyone in the department was really helpful and went out of their way to help me. There was also a good support network through the Buddy and Champion schemes.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It was a fantastic experience and I know that I now want to purse a career in Accountancy.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • We received a lot of information before the internship and throughout the process. There was a good structure which meant we also had an induction course where we got to meet all the other summer vacation scheme interns as well.

    • It was a really good and also hard working atmosphere.

    • I was given a broad range of work to do and there were insightful inductions.

    • I was treated as an associate and given a lot of responsibility. The range of work was also very varied so I got a good insight into all the different areas of the department.

    • There were lots of socials and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

    • It was invaluable as I have decided to purse a career in accountancy.

    • I was paid and reimbursed expenses.

    • There were lots of social events and through the varied work, I was constantly working with different members of the team.

    • The insight was extremely useful and gave a really good insight into the company, the department and accountancy. It is also an ideal length of time.
