    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great place to work but the internship wasn't that great in showing this.

    3/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was passed to a new person each week and didn't even know who was supposed to give me work/ who to ask for work

    1/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Unfortunately, I was unlucky to have very little to do during the internship - there were days where I had actually nothing at all to do. My buddies tried to give me some things but there wasn't really anything for them to give.

    1/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was doing nothing most of the time, and was given a couple of odd jobs to do but nothing solid - no project or anything.

    1/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • On the things that I was given, I did know that they were things that other associates would have done.

    2/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Great name on the CV and helped with interpersonal skills but not a lot of Audit work really

    3/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Nice people and an open office - it was really nice. But everyone mostly kept to themselves. Theres an internal chat system which I used to talk to other interns.

    3/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • HR did a great job of organizing the internship and events around it. It was just that there was no work which I could do - which wasn't their fault at all.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Spent a couple of days of training and a lot of on-the job training.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Have an interview in a couple of days with the company.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • A lot of HR organized events and we all got together almost every day after work

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London will always be expensive but I just commuted from home.

    2/5

  • Good nightlife - went to a lot of bars and pubs

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Lot of social events - no charity events though :(
