    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I've really enjoyed it. It was very insightful into the industry I want to work in. There was a lot of support and events and lunches and tours for the interns so we were really well taken care of and valued by the recruitment.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt like I was contributing to the team and they took me out for welcome drinks which I thought was very good for my integration.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was always able to ask any question I needed and things were explained well enought that I knew what I was doing first time around.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was never too busy and I always had work to do, it wasn't ever deadline based. There were occassions where I had to ask for more work to do. The tasks were varied but I could've been busier.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • There were occassions where I had total responsibility of a task but in general I never felt in charge of what I was doing. More responsiblity over time would have made me feel more valued but maybe there wasn't enough time.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I've learned so much about the property industry thanks to my time here. I feel like I can come away with an indication of what working in property and Savills is like. My research, organisation, self-discipline and problem-solving skills have been developed and I feel I've gotten substantial knowledge in how to operate well in the team I was in.
