    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a great experience and a really good internship. I enjoyed every minute of it.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • All of my colleagues were very welcoming from the start, they were all very willing to help me with the job I had to do. All of the input and ideas that I had were taken seriously by them and that really made me feel valued as an intern.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • As I said previously, all of my colleagues were very helpful when it came to advice and guidance. Whenever I had any questions, they were answered quickly and satisfactorily.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very busy but not to the extent that I couldn't handle it. Although there was a lot of work to do, I never felt like I was overworked.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given jobs that the current employees in my team would do which was actually not what I was expecting. I expected to be given jobs that only interns would do, so it was a nice surprise to be given so much responsibility.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I feel like a better person after this internship. It has improved me more than I thought was possible from such an experience. I have learned to be much better at communicating and working in a team which will be invaluable for the rest of my degree and in the future.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office was very formal. I expected this but the atmosphere for working was very nice indeed. I could freely communicate with my team members and I could ask any questions I had. I felt like I had a lot of freedom to do what I wanted without being bogged down with the formality of things.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was perfectly set up. There were never any times where I thought that it was badly organized. Everything from the work I had to do to the company events felt like they were planned well in advance.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They gave me all the support that I needed to do my job effectively and I had the option to take on further training if I needed it.

  • Flexi Time
