    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Good company and interesting content but was not that well organised, a lot of sitting around with little to do.

  • Very welcoming, accommodating and helpful

  • Manager was very busy but others in the office were useful

  • Sometimes long periods with little to do, other times lots of interesting projects to work on

  • More than expected, lots of data manipulation that was not checked over so they give a certain amount of trust

  • Very useful for final year project and computer training will definitely be useful in the career

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • When the office was full, it was fun and friendly but could be times with only a few people around and was very quiet

  • Other interns in different areas seemed to have more to do and better supervisors so maybe just unlucky with my manager

  • Had the option to do training courses which I took in a wide range of topics

  • They offer a separate assessment scheme for placement students, increasing the chance of future employment

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • They recommended accommodation where the majority of the undergrads lived so was very sociable

  • Living costs were average but socialising was cheap

  • Coventry isn't the best but surrounding areas offer more

  • If you organised it yourself amongst other interns it was good but the company did nothing
