The Role
Overall it has been a very enjoyable experience, it is very different to the Uni lifestyle but didn't take long to get used to it. The placement its self went well and I would reccomend F+G to others for the quality, skills and training they can offer.
The F+G nottingham office has a good bunch of people, everyone is easy to get along with and I have made some friends.
I never felt as if I couldn't ask anyone for help.
Obviously at the start the work is limited whils people assess your abilities but once people are comfortable with what you can do the workflow is good.
I am doing more than I thought I would have been doing at the start of the placement. I have been given oppertunities to run my own projects arrange my own meetings etc.
I feel I have learned a lot of things whilst on placement. It has been a very different but enjoyable year living and working away from home, I think I will have more time for my degree and the extra skills learned will improve the quality of my work.
The Company
Everyone is easy to talk to and up for a laugh.
It was well organised and I had a good mixture of experience.
