  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed the insight; it gave me a good and detailed overview of each legal group and the opportunity to meet a lot of inspiring and motivated people.

    • My associate and 'parent' for the week of the Work Experience Scheme really made me feel as part of the team.

    • The insight was very well structured with many talks, projects, activities and social events planned for the Work Experience Scheme students.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • The firm spent a lot of time organising talks for us such as "what does it take to become a good commercial lawyer" which really helped in our personal development.

    • By giving us opportunities to listen to talks by associates and partners of the different legal groups and opportunities to talk to the associates and trainees during social events, the insight really helped me understand what working at the firm would be like.

    • Having the opportunity to talk to the partners, associates and trainees helped me understand the friendly and warm work culture at Slaughter and May.
