The Role
The job was challenging and varied and provided me with a range of beneficial experiences.
I was part of a small team and felt very highly valued for my work and as part of the team.
Support was consistent and helpful, whilst allowing me room to use my own initiative.
The job was challenging and I managed a high workload. At times it was stressful, but experience of this was highly beneficial to me.
I had quite a lot of responsibility, though I was guided and monitored along the way. I was responsible for managing my own workload entirely.
I got a first in my degree after completing my placement, which I solely put down to the experience and knowledge I gained. It also helped me get a graduate job.
The Company
It was well balanced between positive and enthusiastic about life, and being professional.
The placement was well organised most of the time and the times when it wasn't was largely down to the changeable nature of the workload and sector in which I worked.
The company invested highly in my personal development. I attended training courses that enhanced my own personal portfolio of skills.

Working from home
Employment with them is possible, but unlikely due to the funding cuts in the public sector. I know if they had a job to offer me they would, but existing staff members are at risk of losing their jobs, so it is not likely.
The Culture
There was only one other placement student and though we met up regularly outside of work, we both travelled home frequently so this was not that often.
It was pretty good value for money.
Enough for me, but possibly too quiet for most students!
There were loads of opportunities to get out with other members of the team in their specialist activities.
