The Role
The work environment was pleasant, the experienced gained was useful, my colleagues were very friendly and the agency was very helpful and supportive.
They were always very encouraging, helpful and friendly.
The agency gave us a lot of support on how to cope in a very different work environment, when we got to work we were already prepared for all the cultural differences and gaps.
In order to have something to do we had to go up to someone and ask, we were not often given specific tasks, but that was sometimes positive because we had to cultivate our initiative.
We were sometimes given important tasks, they were all real-life tasks as such, but because of the nature of the work it was mainly working as part of larger groups of people.
All the skills, knowledge and experience gained was very valuable and definitely useful for the future.
The Company
Everyone was friendly and most people were sociable all the time, the atmosphere was relaxed but also serious when needed.
Everything was pre-schedule, there was a specific time sheet and we were even dropped off at work on the first day by agency helpers.
They were very interested in hearing about our individual interests and skills and gave us helpful information regarding our future career development.
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
They were very interested in hearing from us and we are still in touch.
The Culture
We often went out together and at work it was always fun to be around everyone!
Everything was very cheap!!!
Could go to a different bar/club every night and never get bored. So many choices and people there are very nice and fun to be around.
People who stayed longer sometimes volunteered or worked as english teachers. It was generally easy to get involved in the community and there was always something going on in the city.
