  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I learnt a huge amount but it was also a lot of fun with lots of events to get to know people in the company and on the internship.

  • They were very welcoming and friendly

  • HR organised many valuable talks and events where you could find out more about the company and what life as a graduate would be like.

  • A good balance between site visits and office work. I was never bored or overwhelmed.

  • I was doing independent work from the beginning and by the end was able to write whole reports.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • There were a lot of events after work, and the office atmosphere was extremely friendly and sociable.

  • I always felt like I knew what I was meant to be doing and we were given a full induction on our first day.

  • We had a lot of talks about different areas of the company and the team took time to explain everything we were doing.

  • If you impress on the summer scheme there is an opportunity to be fast tracked onto the assessment centre for the graduate scheme

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Everyone was very sociable and we often met for lunch or for drinks after work

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Central London is always going to be expensive but Thursday happy hours are great!

  • The office is very central and the area has a lot going on.

  • There were many team building events such as rounders in the park.
