  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Hugely insightful to work with industry professionals and work in 'the City' I aspire to work in the future.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Tasks assigned were extremely important and confidential, as a result I felt valued as it required 100% focus.

  • Support was always there when needed in which I could rely upon - extremely grateful for the guidance given.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Modestly busy, at times work was scarce - however, I used my initiative and asked for more work and I constantly asked questions that got me more involved.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I felt honored by the responsibility I was given, I love thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines. However, due to the sensitivity of the work (bank confidential) I was limited in some parts.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This proved to be a huge learning curve that I can build on constantly with the skills that I have gained/developed thus allowing assisting me in my Economics degree in the future.

  • Lively team which are highly motivated in achieving their goals.

  • Overall organisation of the work placement was fair, other things came up in which I had to draw my attention to which was urgent.

  • There was numerous amounts of classes and seminars to attend which were extremely helpful.

  • This is an organisation I see myself working at in the future! Through hard work, dedication and results.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Other interns at the bank made lunch perfect, we had the chance to review our work and talk about the things that we had done in summary.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Modestly priced.

  • Its hard for me to comment on this as I have never actually been a night out in the area I worked at.
