  • Each intern is given a project to do throughout summer.

  • Work I did relates a lot to my Economics degree, I'm able to apply what I've learnt to my work.

  • Very friendly and helpful staff.

  • Planned with flexible week schedules.

  • We had a presentations training class. We could also choose to attend various (eg IT, personal skills) courses if we wanted to, as interns.

  • Very fulfilling job for the long term. Good balance and good returns.

  • We had weekly socials with other interns.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Food outside the bank isn't that cheap, but the bank's restaurant serves very affordable food.

  • Lots of nice pubs and bars around the area.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Lots of activity groups/ networks within the banks which allow for this.
