  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Good internship, treated as part of the team

  • Of course there is a difference between the colleagues and interns, but especially at the junior level everyone is very supportive

  • Guidance mainly from other analysts, not any higher roles

  • It's investment banking, it will always be busy

  • Not much at the beginning, but progressed further towards the end, also stepping in to the void as Analysts leave on holiday

  • Will not help my degree (but almost surely job prospects)

  • Super fun team

  • Good organisation, including several intern and networking events

  • A week of training, which however could have been more focused and covered more areas

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Social scene great at the beginning (training), however afterwards fairly non-existent in IBD given the hours, apart from weekends

  • Central London & the City, shouldn't be expected to be cheap
