The Role
Everyone was very helpful and welcoming, which made it very easy to come in to work.
Everyone was grateful when I helped on a piece of work and when you put effort in, it doesn't go unnoticed.
Managers on each job were very clear on what they wanted and expected by the end of the job and were always available via email or telephone call if I had any problems or queries.
I was assigned to various clients 5 out of the 6 weeks of my internship, with the last week in the office to prepare for my interview and assist anyone with any tasks in the office.
I was expected to carry out tasks on my own and interact directly with clients where necessary. It was good to be given responsibility as it made it feel like I was contributing properly to the job.
The Company
The office is quite quiet and not many people chat.
Very well organised. I was aware of where I would be within plenty of time, usually a weeks notice in order for me to arrange getting to various client sites. I was also made aware well in advance of any work I may have to carry out before the job started.
I had a training day in Solihull where all the internship students from the regional offices attended. We stayed over for a night and had more training the following day. I then received further service line specific training the next day.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would really like to be offered a job.
The Culture
There were 4 socials organised for us throughout the 6 weeks.
Not too expensive, and company paid for all the socials.
Office based in the centre of town so very good nightlife.
