About You
It was great, very informative with friendly people. I learnt lots more about the market and how I could enter the field after graduation and the sorts of candidates that they look for and want.
They wee very thorough in explaining the application proves and encouraging you to apply hence I did feel valued as a potential future worker - they made you feel very welcome and appreciative.
Like I mentioned previously, they were very eager to explain more about the career, different ways you can enter it and gain more experience. Graduate recruitment were quick in replying to emails.
Many transferable skills were demonstrated, time management, organisation and more personal skills such as being able to network with others and get along also negotiation workshops and more
The Company
Very nicely done, lots of activities in a brief amount of time was covered therefore felt like you got the most out of your experience and time there. Lots of things to do but also free time to network.
More relaxed than I thought it would be
Arranged looks of activities, had many staff members eager to help out
Gave a good idea of what it could be like, obviously any experience which is less than a couple of months isn't really a true representation of what goes on in the busy periods but a glimpse was gained
They certainly advertised a certain type of culture but it really is the people who make up a company culture so being able to talk to the workers and ask them about their work/career certainly helped
Yes, it was certainly useful for seeing what the career market was like and how competitive it was alongside the requirements, so very useful for deciding whether you are suited or suitable for this
Everything Else
Yes, during lunch and at separate sessions just for conversing with staff members, we were able to meet a range of people and had varied conversations. Also able to exchange email, contact details
Good, lots to talk about
Briefly - sports, cooking etc.
Sure, gain as much experience as possible to explore all the avenues open to you even if your degree does not directly correlate you can still enter any field you wish to as long as you pursue it
